What it's about
On a world where the Maker made sure heroes never appeared, Peter Parker is in his thirties, married to Mary Jane, with two kids and a job he doesn't love. Then, twenty years late, the spider finds him. With Harry Osborn as a very different Green Goblin and Uncle Ben still alive, Peter has to become a hero in a city the Kingpin already owns.
Why it matters
It was one of the best-selling comics of 2024 from its first issue, and it gave readers what the main series could not: a married Peter Parker with a family, in a finished story. See Peter Parker (Ultimate Spider-Man 2024, Earth-6160).
