Can Spider-Man beat the Sinister Six?
Pick a Spider-Man and up to six villains, and see whether he walks away. Start with the original 1964 lineup or build your own team from every opponent on the site.
Fight rules: both fighters at their peak, no preparation, no allies, only their own powers and personal gear. A win is a knockout, a restraint they can't escape, or a forced surrender. The percentages are fan estimates, not official information. In a team fight, Spider-Man has to beat everyone at once.

The original Sinister Six
In Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 (1964), Doctor Octopus gathered five more of Spider-Man's enemies to beat him once and for all. They took him on one at a time, and he beat every one of them. The lineup has changed dozens of times since, but these are the six who started it.

How team odds work
Every villain has a rating: their log-odds of beating that Spider-Man one-on-one. A team's strength combines its members' ratings, so each extra villain adds a lot, but less than the one before. Members of the original Sinister Six who fight together add 3 points per pair, up to 9, for knowing how to work as a team. "One after another" multiplies the six one-on-one chances, as if he had to win six fights in a row with no rest. More on the method.
