Who is Morbius?
Dr. Michael Morbius was a Nobel Prize-winning biochemist dying of a rare blood disease, and his experimental cure, built from vampire bat DNA and electroshock, turned him into a 'living vampire'. He debuted in Amazing Spider-Man #101 (1971), the first vampire in Marvel Comics after the Comics Code relaxed its rules. He has superhuman strength, flight and a thirst for blood that he constantly fights. He has been both Spider-Man's enemy and a reluctant hero.
